Pain is ugly as h*ll! It's raw, loud, and unforgiving. I wrote a lot of these poems while being in an abusive relationship. Even after therapy and antidepressants, which I thought would "fix" me, I still ended up in a situation where I felt like I couldn't get around. I'm Still Healing, Okay? Is an apology to myself. A chance for me to be raw with all the scars I have, a chance to release them and step away, forever. A chance to choose happiness.
