Author Biography

Brigitte spent five intense years at her daughter's side, as she and her husband advocated for Audrey during lengthy hospital stays and home health care, directly involved in her care themselves. Before this time, Brigitte taught Spanish on the secondary level, worked in business, as well as with a medical mission organization, participating with and leading short-term teams to remote areas of Mexico, Guatemala, and Bolivia. She lived an adventure-filled two years in Colombia, South America, where she unearthed a passion for photography, travel, and salsa dancing! She also enjoys art and music, gardening, writing, and anything creative. She is currently homeschooling Audrey.
