Author Biography

Linkun Shi, CPA, was born in Southwestern China. He received his Bachelor of Science from Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University, China, and his Master Degree in Biology from State University of New York. He is an author of a scientific research paper on molecular immunology when he was working at Harvard Medical School. Subsequently he obtained a MBA from St. John's University on full scholarships. He worked for a couple accounting firms as an audit associate with various industries, lastly with a focus on hedge funds and financial services firms. He received his New York CPA license in 2000. He is a Health Care Financial Analyst at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to that, he was a Housing Project Manager of the same federal agency. He is a registered investment adviser. He, his wife and three children live in New York City.
