Author Biography
Kris Villarreal was born in California, raised in Georgia, and attended college at the University of Georgia, receiving degrees in both journalism and women's studies. With a background in journalism, she held a brief career in technical writing. Her love for words and her passion for social change, led her to pursue a career as a novelist. She wrote her debut novel, Logost, as a helping tool for women and girls dealing with depression and abusive relationships. Kris hopes to inspire a generation through words and literature, and plans to address more societal ills through her writing. She enjoys drinking tea, reading, baking, and lifting weights at the gym. Currently, she resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and her two dogs.
