Shanti Edwards is the winner of the 2025 Next Bestseller Book Competition in Maryland. A proud Prince George's County native, she is a romance author whose stories celebrate the warmth, rhythm, and depth of Black love. By day, she works as a lawyer, and by night, she writes heartfelt, emotionally rich romances for readers who believe that love can be layered, nonlinear, and deeply felt.
