Author Biography

John Blair Linn (1831-1899) was a Pennsylvania lawyer, historian, and author of numerous Pennsylvania local histories.

William Henry Egle(1830-1901) was a Pennsylvania physician and author of numerous Pennsylvania local histories. He served as the Pennsylvania state librarian from 1887 to 1898.
