Author Biography

Frederick Fisher has traveled widely in China and the Far East and is the author of many articles and books about China. A Certified Gemologist and Registered Jeweler with the American Gem Society for many years, Frederick Fisher and his late wife, Eileen, shared a passion for travel and "treasure-hunting" fine jewelry, oriental art and antiques. Until a few years ago, Fred and Eileen spent six months each year in Southeast Asia. Fred first began writing when he was an apprentice seaman in the U.S. Navy. He has written numerous articles for various magazines and newspapers and has several published books including China Adventures, Love and Marriage, and Serendipity and Confucius Jade, newly published and released in the U.S. in 2010.
