This is the textbook for a software engineering and science course, using the Python programming language with applications to astronomy. The course is designed to be completed, bootcamp style, in 4 weeks as preparation for doing real world astrophysics and astronomy projects with the python programming language using modern software engineering techniques. The final projects are designed to be approached by teams of 4-5 for a period of two weeks. Course materials are also suitable to be used à la carte for integration into an existing curriculum.
