Author Biography

Not just 30 + years of being "under the influence" of heavy drinking and drugging, but now an added 30 + years of life's many splendid adventures "above the influence" of drugs and alcohol! A blessing, I hope to share with all of you who read this! 127 First and foremost, I'm a survivor! If you want to be a survivor, you should probably listen to, and follow the advice of one of the few that are still alive to share it! It takes a survivor of drug and alcohol addictions to understand and write a book about drug and alcohol addictions in order to convey the truth about the facts and circumstances surrounding the reality and horror of drug and alcohol addictions. Unless you've "been there, done that," anything else written or spoken can only be understood as hearsay. You've picked up this book because you want to survive! You've been in the pit of hell long enough to recognize that one more encounter with drugs or alcohol might kill you, and you don't like what you've already seen in that hell! The truth is, the hell you've already experienced as an alcoholic or addict, is only a preview of the real hell waiting for you if you make the wrong decision, and choose the wrong God in step 3! The real hell is much worse and no one wants to experience spending the rest of their lives there! Most of the books and reading material available today on the subject of drug and alcohol addictions have been written by men and woman with degrees and titles before or behind their names, who have nothing more than the "hearsay" of others to develop the information they share in their books.
