Young Willie runs away from his abusive life in rural Nebraska to join the Albie Brothers Traveling Circus. A good-natured soul, he is eventually put in charge of a carnival freak show. One day, Junior, a young lad who possesses almost-demonic features, is brought to the circus. He becomes Willie's ward. As their friendship deepens, Willie must face the biggest decision of his life. Author Biography

Phillip E. Temples has had over 120 works of short fiction published in print and online journals. A resident of Watertown, Massachusetts, he works as a computer systems administrator at a university. Phil is the author of a murder-mystery novel, "The Winship Affair," by Blue Mustang Press. His new paranormal-horror novel, "Helltown Chronicles," was recently accepted for publication by Big Table Publishing Company.
