Success to Die For: Breaking Down Assumptions about Anxiety, Depression, & Suicide and Their Impact on Business Women - Paperback
by Lynette Davis (Author)
Women are finally taking a seat at the proverbial table as startup founders, company presidents, C-suite executives, and the multiple role-playing small business owner - but at what cost? This truth-revealing and daring book reveals the hidden struggles involved with the pursuit of success among the chaos of workplace cultures fueled with blame, shame, microaggressions, and fear-based competitiveness. The text also shares how women leaders find ways to cope and thrive despite mental illness. Mental health peer advocate and writer Lynette Davis explores and exposes the personal narratives of female entrepreneurs and business owners. Success To Die For offers itself up as a caveat not only to change the game by adequately addressing the links between mental illness and entrepreneurship, but also to be an idea catalyst for suicide prevention through innovation in company ethics, policies, and procedures.
